Dataro Salesforce External Client App release notes

The Dataro External Client App connects your Salesforce org to Dataro. It writes Dataro's donor prediction scores onto your records, so your team can build audiences and prioritize outreach from inside Salesforce.

New

• Dataro Single Gift. The likelihood of each donor to give a single gift within the next three months. This is a flexible score you can use across any giving channel or campaign category, including where campaign tagging is incomplete. It publishes as dataroio__Dataro_Single_Gift__c, with a matching rank field, dataroio__Dataro_Single_Gift_Rank__c.
• Dataro User permission set. Assign it to give your users access to the Dataro fields on the Account and Contact Objects. See Assign the Dataro User permission set in Salesforce.

Changes

• Dataro fields now use the dataroio__ namespace. On the Account and Contact Objects, the app creates a new set of Dataro fields, and Dataro writes to the new fields from now on. Your old Dataro fields stay in place and stop updating, so anything reading them holds its last values. Point your reports, dashboards, list views, segments, and flows at the new fields. • No change for other Objects. If your Dataro data is on a custom Object, or on a standard Object other than Account or Contact, the app does not create fields. Dataro keeps writing to the fields you use today.
