March 2025

  • Easily segment audiences with relative dates for giving history -
    To segment an audience based on how recently donors have last given, you can now easily apply a time-based filter to select all donors who contributed within a rolling date range.

    For example, while you can use the “since” operator to identify all donors who have given since a specific date, the “in the last” operator allows you to select all donors who have given (or not given) in the past 6 months, relative to the current date. 

  • Import custom fields from Salesforce NPSP to segment targeted audiences -
    You can now import custom fields from Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack for use in Audience Builder.

    To see your custom fields in Audience Builder: Visit the Connections page from your Dataro account, add or select an existing object, and then choose the field you would like to add from the dropdown menu.
  • Segment audiences based on campaign membership -
    Build an audience based on whether or not a donor was contacted in a previous campaign by selecting the “Inclusion in past campaign” filter. You can use this filter to easily track or follow up with donors in a certain campaign, or to exclude recently contacted donors from an upcoming campaign.
  • Delve deeper into Audience Insights with the new At A Glance section -
    Audience Insights for Smart Audiences and saved audiences now includes a new “At A Glance” section, which highlights the top campaigns, donors, and gifts for that audience.
    • The Top Campaigns tab displays past fundraising campaigns with the highest number of participants from your audience. 
    • The Top Donors tab shows the donors in your audience with the highest total lifetime giving. 
    • The Top Gifts tab displays the largest donations made by members of your audience.
  • Analyze any audience in Fundraising Insights - Instantly explore further insights and analysis for any smart or saved audience by selecting the “view in Fundraising Insights” option from the audience action menu.
