# Searching with ProspectAI

ProspectAI offers two search modes: individual and bulk.

**Individual search**

To search for an individual, click on New Search → Individual Search, then fill in the four required fields:

- Full name
- City
- State
- Country

Then, click search.

Depending on your location, you might not use the same terminology (e.g., you might use “county” or “province”). No problem! The tool merely requires a series of 3 broader geographic regions. So, for example, if you were in the UK, you might enter London, England, UK (even though England is and the UK are both countries). To maximize the chances of a good result, we recommend using terminology that you might use day-to-day to describe locations (vs. technically correct terms); for example, using “New York” vs. “New York Metropolitan Area”.

Results will appear in the Past Results page.

**Bulk search**

If you have a list of names, you can use bulk mode to search for them all at once. To do this, download the CSV template file, and fill in the same required fields as above (full name, city, state, country), and just upload the file, pick a name for the list, and run the search.

Results will appear in the Past Results page as lists.
