Smart Audiences are pre-segmented donor lists based on the actions and propensities of your current donors.
Smart Audiences may be based on simple donor behaviors (donors who have been acquired in the past year, donors who give in multiple channels, etc.), donor propensity scores (donors who are likely to make a midlevel gift, recurring donors who are at risk of churn, etc.), stages of their donor journey (active midlevel and major donors), or interest areas.
Smart Audiences can be accessed via the Dataro homepage.
How can I see the parameters of a Smart Audience?
To see how a Smart Audience is defined and which donors are included in it, select the audience, and then click “View List” from the Audience Insights page. From the list view, select “edit filters” to see the filters used to build the original list.
Can I customize a Smart Audience?
To further segment or customize a Smart Audience, click the “view” button and then select “View List” to add custom filters or edit the initial filters used to build the audience.
How can I use Smart Audiences in my campaigns?
To use the audience, simply click on the “view” button. From the Audience Insights page, use the Take Action menu to begin your campaign.
