Dashboards are collections of related reports that can be viewed together in order to gain a holistic understanding of fundraising performance.
Accessing dashboards
Click Reports in the menu bar and then select Dashboards to view both pre-built dashboards and your saved custom dashboards.
Pre-built dashboards available in Dataro include:
- Annual reporting (past 5 years)
- Quarterly reporting (past 12 months)
- Single giving trends
- Appeal giving trends
- Recurring giving trends
Each dashboard provides easily accessible data visualizations to help you understand the health and trajectory of the program.
Creating new dashboards
To create a new dashboard, either select Add new dashboard from the Dashboards home screen to start from scratch, or use an existing dashboard as your starting place, by opening your desired dashboard and selecting Clone from the Actions menu.
Adding a new report to a dashboard
To add a new report to a custom dashboard, first create and save the report. Then, open the dashboard that you would like to add to, select the “Add Report” button, and select your saved report from the list.
Customizing dashboards
Rearranging reports
You can easily drag and drop the reports in any dashboard to reorder them according to your preferences. Simply click and hold the arrows icon in the top right corner of any report, and drag it to your desired position.
Changing report chart types
Prefer line graphs over bar charts? Select “Switch chart type” from the action menu of any report to change the data visualization style.
