We have complex segmentations for our campaigns, how can we use Dataro?

You can build the vast majority of your campaign segments in Dataro. However, if you wish to continue using existing segments, we recommend that you add Dataro as the first filter for your selection, before adding other segments, to ensure you capture all the most-likely donors. 

The results of this approach is that you can explicitly see:

  • That Dataro has captured the vast majority of possible donations
  • Whether the ‘other’ donors in your segments returned a positive or negative result

Once we've run our first campaign together, we typically see clients move away from a complex RFM segmentation strategy as it takes a long time and produces lower returns than Dataro.
