Say goodbye to the blank page struggle. With AI Assist, you can effortlessly generate compelling content from scratch. Whether it's crafting impactful emails or drafting engaging updates, AI Assist empowers you to bring your ideas to life. AI Assist can be accessed through the main menu of the Dataro platform, or by selecting **Generate content** from any audience action menu.  ![](https://support.dataro.io/hs-fs/hubfs/AI%20assist-gif.gif?width=688&height=335&name=AI%20assist-gif.gif) ### Managing AI Assist settings From the main menu, select **AI Assist** and choose either **User Settings** or **Organization Settings**. Organization Settings control the logic used by AI Assist to generate content for all users associated with your organization. User Settings affect only your user account, and will take precedence over your organization’s settings.  Within the Settings page, you have the ability to: - Edit your organization’s name and mission - Select a default tone of voice - Choose your desired output language - Define organization-specific language guidelines, including specific words to use or avoid - Provide examples of your organization’s existing content ![](https://support.dataro.io/hs-fs/hubfs/ai%20assist%20settings-gif.gif?width=688&height=335&name=ai%20assist%20settings-gif.gif) ### Generating content with AI Assist 2.0 To start generating content with AI Assist, simply follow the prompts on the screen, selecting your campaign goal and target audience, and providing short descriptions of your campaign. When you’re ready, click “Generate” to instantly create a first draft of your appeal or journey. *Note: Currently AI Assist personalized content generation is only available for some audiences. To generate content without first selecting a target audience, please use the Legacy 1.0 version of AI Assist. * #### Accessing AI Assist 1.0 To switch between versions of AI Assist, select the toggle in the top right corner of your screen and select either the legacy version (AI Assist 1.0) or the current version (AI Assist 2.0). AI Assist 1.0 offers a larger collection of content generation options, including the ability to: - Generate email subject lines - Transform a piece of existing content into a multichannel campaign - Personalize existing content for a specific donor segment (e.g. older or younger donors) - Edit existing content with AI-generated recommendations - Shorten or lengthen existing content - Update the tone of existing content - Generate content for personal donor outreach ![](https://support.dataro.io/hs-fs/hubfs/ai%20assist%201-0-gif.gif?width=688&height=311&name=ai%20assist%201-0-gif.gif) ### Best practices for managing your data privacy in AI Assist Protecting sensitive information about your organization and the people you serve is important when using any generative AI tool, including AI Assist. To uphold a high level of information security when using AI Assist, we recommend that you: - **Do:** use fictional names as placeholders when incorporating personal stories into your content, and replace them (when appropriate) once you’ve copied the content into a secure document or platform.   -
